Ambassador Barrett Visits Turku
Ambassador Barbara Barrett visited Turku June 10-11. Her program included meetings with Mayor Mikko Pukkinen, and Rector Keijo Virtanen, the University of Turku. She visited at Turun Sanomat, BioCity Turku, and Aker Yards where she had a tour on the board of Oasis of the Seas which will be the biggest cruise ship in the world when launched in 2009. Ambassador Barrett delivered a speech at an event hosted by the Turku Paasikivi Society and had a short tour of the Entrepreneurship Park arranged in connection with the European Day of the Entrepreneur seminar.
