APAO Kim Hargan Visits Midnight Sun Film Festival in Sodankylä
APAO Kim Hargan visited the 23rd Midnight Sun Film Festival in Sodankylä, Lapland, which took place on June 11-15, 2008. The film festival, which attracted a record number of guests this year, featured works by American movie directors Milos Forman and John Cassavetes. Movie director Milos Forman and actor Seymour Cassel were the special guests from the Unites States. Other special guests of the festival were movie director Andrei Konchalovsky and Finnish actor Lasse Pöysti. The U.S. Embassy Helsinki was one of the sponsors of this festival.
