Ambassador Barrett Meets with Youth for Understanding Students
Ambassador Barbara Barrett welcomed Finnish Youth for Understanding exchange students to the Embassy's Consular, where the students were applying for their visas to America. The students will be attending their junior high school years at public high schools throughout the United States, and will reside with American families. Ambassador Barrett discussed the important role that high school students play in fostering lasting people-to-people relationships between U.S. and Finnish citizens.
