  • Ambassadors Barbara Barrett and Jawed Ludin Honoring Afghanistan

    An Honoring Afghanistan Reception was held in the US Embassy Helsinki on Tuesday, August 19. In addition to the several Finnish guests, Ambassador Jawed Ludin, Congressman Dana Rochabacher, and numerous representatives of the local Afghan community honored the occasion with their presence.

  • Ambassador Barrett visited Mariehamn city library to which U.S. Embassy donated a collection of fact and fiction of more than one hundred books Ambassador Barrett visits Åland Islands

    Ambassador Barrett visited the Åland Islands on August 11th. In meetings the Ambassador was introduced to the unique government of Åland based on the Act on the Autonomy of Åland and international treaties. Also a donation of over one hundred books was given to the Mariehamn city library.
